How it Works

Capturx for OneNote automatically integrates handwritten notes and sketches written with digital pens into Microsoft OneNote. Teams simply write in Capturx notebooks or on printed sheets with digital pens, which write with normal ink. When the pen is connected to a PC, the handwritten notes and sketches are automatically integrated into OneNote. The pens can store up to 50 pages of handwriting at a time.

With new larger notebooks and print-your-own-notebook capabilities, Capturx for OneNote 2.0 makes it even easier to:

-- Keep Organized. All notes are automatically backed up, centralized,
and easy to access in OneNote. Each page in the paper notebook corresponds
to a page in the digital notebook. Notes and pages can be easily
-- Quickly Search and Find Notes. Handwriting becomes searchable in
OneNote, which automatically uses powerful character recognition to create
a searchable index. Simply type a word and find every place where it's
    written across notebooks.
-- Share Notes through Microsoft Office. Sketches and handwriting can be
copied and pasted in email or for use in other Microsoft Office files.
Handwriting can be converted to digital text or left in the original ink
strokes. Notebooks can also be shared on networks to improve
    collaboration, decisions, and record keeping.

The Capturx line of products for Microsoft Office includes Capturx Forms for Excel® and SharePoint® Server, which enable teams to easily collect structured data using digital pens on ordinary paper. Information written on paper becomes immediately available in Office in the original handwriting and as converted digital text and data tables.
