Adriana Resources Inc.: Beneficiation Test Work Complete and Metallurgical Tests Commence Mustavaara Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Mine, Finland

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 31, 2007) - Adriana Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ADI) reports results from beneficiation test work conducted on a 2,878 kilogram bulk sample from the Mustavaara Iron-Titanium-Vanadium mine in Finland.

The beneficiation test work forms the first phase of metallurgical tests recommended by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), a Toronto-based international consulting geological and engineering firm, with considerable experience and expertise in the evaluation of Iron-Titanium-Vanadium deposits. WGM completed an audit of the historical reserve estimates and a technical review of the past producing Mustavaara Vanadium mine and verified a NI43-101 compliant measured resource for the deposit (press release of October 10th, 2006).

The metallurgical test work is being conducted by Outokumpu Technology Oyj under contract for the Company. Outokumpu Technology Oyj is a worldwide leader in minerals and metals processing technologies, providing innovative tailored solutions for a wide variety of customer needs in the iron and steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals industries.

Progress to date includes the extraction of a 2,878 kilogram bulk sample from the bottom of the Mustavaara open pit, followed by lab-scale beneficiation tests to define optimum grinding parameters. The entire bulk sample was then processed by the Geological Survey of Finland ("GTK") at their pilot plant process facilities in the town of Outokumpu, Finland. Processing included crushing, grinding and low intensity drum magnetic separation to produce a magnetite concentrate. Grinding fineness was 91% minus 45 micrometre. Results obtained on the beneficiation efficiency and concentrate grades are summarized as follows:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Mass % Fe % TiO2 % V %
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Bulk sample from mine 16 2.9 0.2
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Bench-scale Concentrate 15.7 61 7.0 0.9
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Pilot Plant Concentrate 14.6 62 7.2 0.9
--------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Magnetite Concentrate
(Past Production) 14.2-15.3 61-62 7.4-8.1 0.89-0.93
--------------------------------------------------------------------

The Company reports that these initial beneficiation tests have achieved the same upgrading efficiency and concentrate quality as those reported from the historic mining operation. This confirms that the vanadium in the Mustavaara run of mine ("ROM") ore can be upgraded by nearly 500% to a competitive magnetite concentrate containing 0.9% vanadium, equivalent to 1.61% vanadium pentoxide ("V2O5").

The 420 kilograms of magnetite concentrate produced from the pilot plant run will be split with approximately half to be used for pyrometallurgical tests at the research facilities of Outokumpu Technology Oyj. in Pori, Finland. The remainder will be retained for additional metallurgical tests yet to be determined. The first tests are scheduled to begin in early February. The principle goal of the smelting tests is to arrive at a process by which iron, titanium, and vanadium can be separated into separate saleable products to utilize the full potential of the deposit mineralogy.

The Company can earn a 70% interest in the Mustavaara Property under an agreement signed with Akkerman Exploration B.V., ("Akkerman") a private company incorporated in the Netherlands. The property consists of four exploration claims totaling 356 hectares, Kalliolampi 1-4, granted to Akkerman on August 30, 2006. The claims cover the Mustavaara mine and extensions of the magnetite horizon over a strike extent of nearly 5 kilometers. The 1,800 meter long open pit and extensions contain a NI 43-101 compliant, open pittable, measured resource of 30 million tonnes, grading 16.8% magnetite containing 0.91% vanadium. The deposit is open at depth and along strike.

Mr. Wilf Struck, P.Eng a director of the Company and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has approved the technical content of this News Release.
