Advanced Battery Technologies' Products Qualified for CE Marking

Products May Now Be Sold Within the 30 Member States of the European Economic Area

HARBIN, CHINA and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: GBT) today announced that its entire line of polymer lithium-ion products qualify for CE Marking. Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. develops, manufactures, and distributes rechargeable polymer lithium-ion (PLI) battery cells.

"CE Marking indicates to customers that our products meet quality and safety levels, and enhances our credibility. CE Marking is a legal requirement for the sale of manufactured goods throughout the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA is composed of the three member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the 27 member states of the European Union (EU).
