Advanced Explorations Inc. Intersects More High Grade Iron

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 9, 2008) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce the latest assay results from the 2008 drilling campaign on its Roche Bay iron ore project in Nunavut, Canada. Drill-hole RBC-08-82, collared on section 10600N, intersected 42 metres of 31.78% iron within a broader zone of 253.4 metres averaging 25.38% iron.

The Company remains encouraged by the results received to-date, and recent assays continue to demonstrate the C-Zone, contains broad zones of high grade banded iron formation. Additionally, drill-hole RBC-08-81, collared on section 10800N, intersected a 28 metre interval of 30.46% iron within a broader interval of 127.1 metres grading 26.54% iron. Drill-hole RBC-08-83, collared 1800 metres north of drill-hole RBC-08-82 on section 12400N, intersected 40 metres of 31.54% iron with a 178 metre interval grading 25.49% iron.

Please see the attached table for current drilling details.

John Gingerich, President & CEO of AEI, commented;

"The results from this year's drilling continue to meet our expectations.

The C-Zone's mineralization is characterized by a broad zone of banded iron formation as evidenced by the 253 metre intersection in hole RBC-08-82 with a core of high grade in excess of 30% iron. The size potential of the C-Zone is demonstrated by drilling along over four kilometres of the more than five kilometres of strike and with intersections at depths in excess of 500 metres. The A, B, D and E zones add to the project's potential."

Delays in getting assay results has held up the completion of a NI 43-101 compliant resource and associated economic study. Once all remaining analysis is received, the Company will move forward with releasing these reports as quickly as possible.

Analysis: All the recent drill core analysis reported in this release was performed by SGS Lakefield Research. At SGS, samples are analyzed for total Fe using XRF techniques. SGS also undertakes Satmagan analysis to estimate the portion of magnetic iron. The company augments the laboratory QA/QC procedures by selectively adding additional control samples. Core sample intervals for 2007 were 1 metre and increased to 2 metres except where intervals cross geologic boundaries in which case the sample length is adjusted accordingly.
