AeroGrow Announces Quarterly Revenue Guidance

Three Months Ending September 2007: $6.2 to $6.4 Million

BOULDER, CO--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - AeroGrow International, Inc. (NASDAQ: AERO) ("AeroGrow" or the "Company"), makers of the AeroGarden® kitchen garden appliance, today announced its revenue guidance for the three months ended September 30, 2007, its second fiscal quarter.

AeroGrow anticipates revenue of approximately $6.2 million to $6.4 million for the three months ended September 30, a more than 500% increase over the $1.03 million in revenue in the same quarter one year ago and a slight increase over last quarter's revenue.

"As expected, we experienced summer seasonality in July and August, with accelerating sales in September due to the start of our holiday sell-in to retailers," said Michael Bissonnette, Founder and CEO of AeroGrow. "We're especially excited about our next two quarters. We're launching this holiday season into approximately 4,000 storefronts, more than five times as many storefronts as we had in the same quarter last year. For the quarter beginning January 1, 2008, we're launching three powerful new product lines that I believe will add accelerated growth, both nationally and internationally, throughout 2008."
