Aeturnum Achieves CMMi Level 3 Accreditation

IT Service and Solution Provider's Global Engineering Process (GEP) Recognized for Highest Standards in Quality Product and Service Delivery

WESTFORD, MA--(Marketwire - November 16, 2009) - Aeturnum, Inc., a provider of enterprise software development services and solutions, today announced that it has been awarded Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) Level 3 accreditation, an internationally recognized and widely endorsed standard for quality software development practices. The accreditation demonstrates Aeturnum's continuing efforts to achieve the highest levels of product quality, delivery and service performance.

The accreditation was received by Aeturnum Lanka, the Sri Lankan subsidiary of Aeturnum Inc., which is set to celebrate its third anniversary later this month. Its parent, Aeturnum, Inc., based in Westford, MA, has provided enterprise software development services and solutions to emerging technology vendors and Global 2000 organizations since 2001. The company leverages a highly disciplined global sourcing and engineering model to deliver high quality, cost-effective product engineering, software testing, systems integration and software solutions to public and private sector organizations worldwide. Aeturnum's product and service offerings include its Athiva enterprise development software platform and its Microsoft-based Search Solutions Framework, an integrated business information platform for enterprise and Internet search and portals. The company also provides comprehensive services and expertise in business intelligence, data warehousing, e-billing and payment and online self service.

CMMi is a process improvement approach developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the US. CMMi enables organizations to identify vital components for effective process improvement and guides improvements across projects, divisions, and entire organizations. It helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities and provide guidance and benchmarks for appraising current quality processes. Aeturnum's project delivery process, the Global Engineering Process (GEP), was accredited at Level 3 of the CMMi. The GEP incorporates proven industry best practices and Aeturnum's own proprietary expertise to ensure the delivery of high quality projects that meet the needs of customers within a predictable schedule and budget and guarantee excellence in all phases of a project's lifecycle. CMMi Level 3 accreditation reflects the defined and documented best practices that are part of the GEP and the fact these standards are in place at Aeturnum and used to assure consistency and process performance across the organization. Specific details on the CMMi accreditation are available here.

"This achievement is a great honor and it really highlights the outstanding efforts of our team across the globe to deliver the highest quality products and services to our customers," said Rajat Bhakhri, president and CEO of Aeturnum. "We will continue to use the knowledge and expertise gained from this effort to drive new process improvements, increase productivity and accelerate the business outcomes our customers gain from our work."
