AfterCollege and Swift Communications Form Strategic Partnership

Collaboration Enables Employers to Advertise Their Entry-Level and Part-Time Jobs to Local Colleges and Universities Throughout the Western United States

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and RENO, NV--(Marketwire - January 17, 2008) - AfterCollege, Inc. (www.aftercollege.com), the nation's largest career network for college students and recent graduates, and Swift Communications (www.swiftnews.com) announced a partnership that will bring more entry-level and part-time job opportunities to college students and recent graduates in the local markets of all Swift properties. Through the partnership, Swift's newspapers will be able to post their job listings to the AfterCollege network of colleges and universities.

AfterCollege maintains an exclusive network of over 1,500 partnering academic departments and student groups, as well as a proprietary database of over 19,500 faculty and student group contacts at the nation's top colleges and universities. Through its network, AfterCollege delivers targeted job listings to a diverse audience of students who range from undergraduates to PhDs, with 84% having GPAs of 3.0 or above. AfterCollege helps students find part-time jobs and internship during school and full-time opportunities upon graduation.

In addition, Swift is utilizing AfterCollege's customizable Virtual Career Fair (VCF) platform for its properties. The VCF allows Swift to conduct local and industry-specific online job fairs with ease.

"We are excited about our partnership with Swift Communications and we look forward to offering their newspaper clients access to our exclusive network of exceptional students and graduates," said Michael Dawes, Vice President of Channel Partnerships at AfterCollege. "Through our virtual career fair platform, Swift will be able to create and manage their virtual events, generating high-margin revenue with minimal effort."

"Our Colorado group of newspapers took advantage of AfterCollege's virtual career fair platform in 2007. This was a win-win for the newspapers, employers and ultimately the job seekers. This was one of the easiest tools to use and to sell. We will be using it again in 2008," said Liz Johnson, Classified Director of Colorado Mountain News Media.
