Air Canada Inaugural Non-Stop Calgary-Tokyo Service

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2010) -


WHAT: This Saturday, March 27, marks the launch of Air Canada's new, non-stop service between Calgary and Tokyo. These new flights – the only non-stop service from Calgary to Tokyo – provide business and leisure customers as well as freight forwarders from YYC direct access to Asia.
  As a part of the formal event, Calin Rovinescu, President and Chief Executive Officer, Air Canada, will take part in a traditional Japanese ritual to signify good luck and celebrate this accomplishment. In addition, Japanese drummers will give an inspiring performance.
  Representatives of Air Canada, local and provincial government and The Calgary Airport Authority will be gathering to celebrate the inaugural flight.
