AirIQ Expands U.S. Office

Irwin Rodrigues to oversee San Diego facility

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 30, 2007) - AirIQ Inc. (TSX:IQ), a leader in Wireless Location-Based Services, specializing in Telematics and Security, today announced that Irwin Rodrigues has joined the Company as Vice President, Marketing and Sales.

"Irwin brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, product management and marketing, and will be a strong asset to our Management Team," said Steve Willey, President and Chief Executive Officer. "His proven ability to balance strategic thinking with tactics that deliver tangible results makes him an ideal candidate to lead the Company's U.S. office. With a strong software, solutions and services background, Irwin will bring a new and important perspective to AirIQ."

Mr. Rodrigues will provide marketing and sales leadership for two of AirIQ's Business Divisions: Consumer Vehicle Solutions and Marine Vessel Management. Anne Taylor, Vice President, Commercial Division, will continue to drive new business across all vehicle fleet market verticals.

Irwin Rodrigues spent the past six years at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. He was most recently Director of the Microsoft Project Business, where he was active in developing and executing global strategies for products, marketing, sales, and partners. He also spent three years in Microsoft's Mobile Devices Division, where he drove the launch of the first Microsoft Smartphone, focused primarily on the software platform and third party developers. Prior to his employment with Microsoft, Irwin worked in the venture capital industry and prior to that spent four years in management consulting.

"I am excited about the opportunity with AirIQ," said Rodrigues, "and eager to share my expertise in building market share and driving profitable growth across diverse markets. An expanding office in Southern California is well-positioned to penetrate the entire U.S. market and furthermore, with its proximity to emerging Mexico markets, is an ideal location to support potential expansion into all regions south of the U.S. border."

Steve Willey added, "Hiring a person of Irwin's caliber into the San Diego facility underscores our commitment to quickly strengthen our U.S. capability. We expect to be able to expand the scope of the U.S. office to support delivery into each of our commercial vehicle vertical markets and provide a key launch point for our new Consumer Safety and Security initiatives."
