Aldila's NV™ Iron Shaft Proven to Be a Winner

POWAY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 28, 2005 -- Aldila, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALDA), the game's leading designer and manufacturer of high performance graphite shafts, launched the NV™ Iron shafts on June 15th and eleven days later they were used by the winner of the French Open at Paris National, a European PGA Tour event.

"It's an incredible start," said Michael J. Rossi, Aldila's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "All our research indicated that the new NV™ Iron shaft performed well but to achieve a Tour victory so soon after the launch is testament to our belief that NV™ Iron shafts perform at the highest level, meeting and even exceeding the demands of the world's best players. It's a great feeling to already have our first Tour win with the NV™ Iron shaft," said Mr. Rossi.

The NV™ Iron shaft is available in two models, both featuring low torque, progressive tip-flex, constant weight designs -- the 105 gram Pro Model and the 130 gram Tour Model, in both parallel and taper tips.

The winner of the U.S. Women's Open Championship used the NV™ Wood shaft during her victory. This is the second victory on the LPGA Tour for players using Aldila NV™ shafted woods in just over a month.

Aldila graphite was also in the bag of the winner of the PGA Tour's Barclay's Open. Also, Aldila NV™ Hybrid shafts were the most popular graphite Hybrid shafts according to the Darrell Survey Company.

On the Nationwide Tour, the Darrell Survey Company reported that there were 128 Aldila graphite shafts in play, 122 of which were NV™. In fact, the Aldila NV™ 85 shaft was the single most popular graphite shaft model with 37 in play.
