AlliedBarton Security Services Awarded Two Prestigious Government Contracts

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA--(Marketwire - November 26, 2007) - AlliedBarton Security Services' Government Services division has been awarded two contracts to provide security officer services for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation nationally and for the Federal Protective Service, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, in Washington, DC.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation will be protected by both armed and unarmed AlliedBarton security officers beginning December 7, 2007. This three-year contract with four one-year renewal terms at the government's option covers FDIC facilities in Washington, DC, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, MO, Memphis, New York and San Francisco.

The Federal Protective Service contract will require the deployment of armed AlliedBarton security officers at the Veteran's Administration buildings throughout the National Capital Region beginning January 1, 2008. The one-year contract includes four one-year renewals at the government's option.

AlliedBarton's responsibilities for both contracts include the development, scheduling and coordination of a security officer program and the provision of the necessary management and security personnel.
