AlliedBarton Security Services' Chief of Police, Robert Qualkenbush, Is Appointed President of the Company Police Association of North Carolina


CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) -  AlliedBarton Security Services, www.alliedbarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, announces the appointment of Robert Qualkenbush as President of the Company Police Association of North Carolina, a chartered non-profit organization mandated to help company police organizations and officers through information and education. Qualkenbush is the Chief of Police for the AlliedBarton Company Police program in North Carolina.

The objective of the Company Police Association of North Carolina is to advance the science and art of company police administration, prevent crime, and develop and disseminate approved administrative and technical practices and promote their use in the company police profession. "The Company Police Association of North Carolina seeks to foster inter-agency cooperation, unity of action and the exchange of information and experience among company police officers of this state," adds Qualkenbush. "Our Association is active in recruiting and training highly qualified people and encouraging the adherence of all company police officers to high professional standards of conduct." 

Prior to his appointment as Chief of Police for AlliedBarton, Qualkenbush served as a Deputy Detail Leader for the US Embassy's Department of State High Threat Protection mission in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he handled high threat security assignments involving US Department of State personnel. Qualkenbush also served in the Detective Division of the Davidson County, NC, Sheriff's office and was responsible for the investigation of personal and property crimes.
