AlliedBarton Security Services Selected as Solutions Arena Speaker at IFMA

AlliedBarton Sponsors and Participates in Volunteer Rebuild Project

NEW ORLEANS, LA--(Marketwire - October 24, 2007) - BOOTH 1100 -- AlliedBarton Security Services, www.AlliedBarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, is a Solutions Arena speaker at IFMA's World Workplace 2007, Booth #1100, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, October 24 - 26. AlliedBarton will speak to World Workplace attendees about what to expect from a contract security provider.

"The Solutions Arena at IFMA's World Workplace is an incredible forum for the facility management community to explore new services and technologies, and hear from industry experts who can help with their daily challenges," explained Bob Chartier, AlliedBarton's Vice President of Manufacturing and Industrial Services. "A contract security provider can be a valuable resource for a facility manager, but the manager must be educated so that they can work together with their provider to develop a program that will meet their security goals."

In addition to the World Workplace convention, the IFMA Foundation is producing a Volunteer Rebuild Project on October 27 to help repair fire houses that were damage by Hurricane Katrina. The convention's attendees and exhibitors were asked to stay in New Orleans for an additional day to repaint and refurbish the buildings.

In addition to participating in this event, AlliedBarton also is sponsoring it by providing shirts for all of the volunteers.

"The IFMA Foundation has requested a large volunteer effort to help a city in need and the industry has met that challenge, confirming their sense of community and spirit," said Chartier. "AlliedBarton is proud to be associated with such a commendable volunteer effort."
