Alouettes: Aaron Fiacconi Extends His Contract

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 11, 2005) - Montreal Alouettes
General Manager Jim Popp announced today that guard Aaron Fiacconi
extended his contract with the Alouettes until 2007.

Fiacconi (6'4", 310 lbs.) played in 12 games since he joined the
Alouettes in 2002. Originally from Sault Ste.Marie in Ontario, he was a
first-team All-Star selection in his conference after the 2001 season.

NFL

The Alouettes' organization also confirms that receiver Thyron Anderson
accepted an offer from the New Orleans Saints and defensive back D.J.
Johnson signed with the New York Jets.
