Alpine Homes Continues Expansion in Three Sisters Mountain Village

CANMORE, AB--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) -  Canmore-based Alpine Homes is adding to the revival of Three Sisters Mountain Village with the launch of their new development, Versant at Stewart Creek. And it's creating some excitement. Alpine's Versant at Stewart Creek will be the first LEED-Certified community in the mountain town of Canmore.

As the gateway to the Canadian Rockies, Canmore has always been a destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Three Sisters Mountain Village is an 1,800-acre mountain sanctuary, seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings. With several new communities to choose from, Three Sisters is regaining its status as a premier mountain destination. Recognizing the value of Three Sisters' unique mountain setting and world-class outdoor amenities, Alpine is moving forward with another community as Three Sisters continues to come to life.

Opening in May of 2010, Versant at Stewart Creek will feature low-maintenance town homes in a private community setting. With Versant, Alpine hopes to complement the success of their acclaimed Timberline Lodges community. Timberline, an amenity-rich development with subtle European influence, is over 70% sold and showcases the potential of Alpine's newest addition.

Recognized as Alberta's 2007 Builder of the Year, Alpine is drawing international attention with Versant's design as a LEED-Certified community. Local residents also appreciate the beauty of Versant's surrounding forests and spectacular views of the Bow Valley. This unique combination has Alpine Homes optimistic for the future of Versant and Three Sisters.

"Every Alpine community embodies our motto, 'Celebrate Rustic Elegance.' That idea is carefully planned into everything we build. Quite simply, we look to create spaces with a true sense of mountain living. Three Sisters Mountain Village is an ideal fit, and our communities offer residents the quintessential mountain experience. The timing and design of Versant are important for many reasons, and the community will be a welcome addition to our residents," explains Ryan Doherty, Sales Manager.

Surrounded by nearly three million acres of protected green space, Alpine considers the environment in every aspect of its developments. With natural wood siding, rock and timber detailing and large windows to capture the natural surroundings, the focus is clear -- the creation of spaces with a true sense of mountain living. As Three Sisters Mountain Village returns to prominence, Alpine Homes plans to lead the way.
