Altec Lansing Launches inMotion® iM414V2 Music Dock Designed for Zune HD and Zune™

HD Radio Technology, Audio Alignment™ and Portable Design Deliver Anytime-Anywhere Listening Capabilities to Zune Fans

MILFORD, PA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2009) - Today, Altec Lansing introduced the latest member of its inMotion line of music docks -- the inMotion® iM414V2. The inMotion iM414V2 is designed for the Zune HD and Zune in addition to any devices with a 3.5mm headphone jack including CD, DVD and MP3 players. Packed with features including a built-in FM radio, HD Radio technology and an easy to carry design, the iM414V2 is a perfect companion for music on the go.

The inMotion iM414V2's sleek design cradles the Zune HD and Zune players securely as it delivers a full-range of crystal-clear sound. The iM414V2 utilizes proprietary Audio Alignment™ craftsmanship to deliver a balanced, authentic sound. The inMotion system's twin, bass-enhanced speakers combine power and clarity so that consumers can hear music the way artists intended. With its surround effect and bass enhanced technology, users can widen their stereo image and boost bass without a subwoofer. With the built-in digital FM radio, the iM414V2 provides entertainment even when your Zune is not handy.

"Zune has become a real contender in the MP3 player market and yet there have been very few Zune focused speaker docks," explains Steve Schlangen, product manager at Altec Lansing. "By applying Altec Lansing's technology, we've developed a music dock especially designed to handle Zune players' capabilities including HD Radio and Zune HD compatibility. The 'Designed for Zune' stamp takes the iM414V2 into a new direction that we are very excited to be a part of."

Plug the iM414V2 into the wall for AC power or use batteries to take it on the road. Combine the iM414V2's portability with its wireless remote and do away with those wires to increase your freedom. The iM414V2 also recharges Zune HD and Zune players when AC powered. In addition, the AUX In jack, which is designed for a second device connection including CD, DVD and MP3 players, provides increased device flexibility.
