Alto Group Holdings Updates Progress of Golden Arrow Vein Developments in Ghana

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 22, 2010) - Alto Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: ALTO) ("Alto Group" or the "Company") wishes to provide additional information regarding developments on the Golden Arrow Vein exploratory efforts located at the Company's Nkwanta Concession in Ghana, West Africa.

Golden Arrow is the primary target of the ongoing exploration program at the Alto-Ashanti Project. Following the initial sample program, the older workings have been pumped dry by the Alto crew. Additionally, some rehabilitation of the mine workings was implemented in order to ensure worker safety and these efforts are now complete. A second round of sampling can now commence as access to the drift has been reestablished.

The previous chip samples over the width of the 3 meter underground drift along the vein have a calculated weighted average of 0.985 ounces per ton over 9.8 feet. Visible gold was noted in many samples consisting of fine grained specks in smoky blue grey quartz. Follow up sampling will begin immediately now that the workings are accessible to engineering personnel.

As reported earlier, a series of samples were acquired by chip sampling the vein, which averaged 2.284 ounces per ton (70.96 g/t), the host rock in the footwall (floor) which averaged 0.325 ounces per ton (10.12 g/t), and the volcanic rock hangingwall (ceiling) 0.867 ounces per ton (26.9 g/t). The hanging wall samples likely included vein material with visible gold as one sample returned a high assay of 3.98 ounces (123.84 g/t). The samples were acquired along strike for approximately 40 meters (131 feet) of lateral evaluation.

The trenching program on the eastern strike length extension of the vein is progressing and pit #8 is anticipated to encounter the vein shortly. Sampling of the entire trench will provide additional information for diamond drilling operations. Ongoing exploration has also located additional historic workings to the southwest which are already undergoing sampling evaluation. The Company's geological crew has projected a possible 2 km strike length of the Golden Arrow Zone across the concession.

Alto Group Holdings, Inc. submits samples for analytical work to Transworld Laboratories Ghana located in Tarkwa, Ghana for Au fire assay.
