Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation Hosts Second Annual Connoisseur's Dinner

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF), in partnership with Sotheby's, is hosting its second annual Connoisseur's Dinner on Thursday, May 1, 2008. The event will feature an extraordinary wine tasting and auction to benefit Alzheimer's drug discovery research, and is taking place at Sotheby's 10th floor galleries, 1334 York Avenue at 72nd Street, in New York City.

Leonard Lauder and Nancy Corzine are chairing the dinner along with Honorary Chairs Cece Cord and John Baldwin, Audrey and Martin Gruss, Lee and James Niven, Thomas Quick, Hillary and Wilbur Ross, and Bill and Betsey Ruprecht.

Guests will be treated to an exclusive preview of Impressionist and Modern art and a tasting of Cos d'Estournel 2001 and Trotonoy 2001. The live auction includes rare wines such as a case of 1970 Pétrus, a double magnum pair of 1990 and 2000 Château Lafite Rothschild and a vertical tasting case of 2001-2004 Ornellaia.
