AmMex Gold to Pursue New Opportunities in U.S.A. and Mexico

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 26, 2007) - AmMex Gold Mining Corp. (OTCBB:AMXG)(FWB:R5E)(WKN:A0KE72) is terminating its option agreement with Consolidated Global Minerals Ltd.(TSX VENTURE:CTG) on their Bailey Hills property in Nevada. After a due diligence period AmMex is not proceeding with the Castle Copper - Molybdenum project in Yavapai County, Arizona.

AmMex Gold is negotiating on other projects and expects an announcement in the near future.

Bill Reed, VP Exploration commented: "In our ongoing effort to best utilize our shareholder's investment in AmMex and after ample drill testing at Bailey Hills I believe it is prudent to move on and seek other opportunities. At Castle Copper, the risks involved for future development of a mine appeared too high."
