BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2010) - Nashville rockers American Bang unveiled the
new video for their song "Whiskey Walk" on the homepage of
www.ultimate-guitar.com today, March 24th. The exclusive look, which
features the band's opening track to their upcoming self-titled major-label
debut album, continues through tomorrow, March 25th.
The album, being released by Reprise Records this summer 2010, was produced
by the legendary Bob Rock in the band's hometown of Nashville, as well as
at Rock's home studio in Hawaii. American Bang captures the amazing grace
and guts of their deep musical roots and Southern accent, proving this band
shoots straight at the heart of American rock 'n roll.
The swaggering first single "Wild & Young" is currently in rotation on 32
radio station playlists across the country after only two weeks of official
adds and has achieved an audience of almost 1.5 million among Alternative,
Active Rock, and Mainstream Rock radio. The instantly anthemic song, which
has been heard during several different broadcasts of CBS Sports coverage
during the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, is currently available
online via all major digital retailers.
American Bang -- which is Jaren Johnston (singer / guitar), Ben Brown (lead
guitar), Kelby Ray (bass), and Neil Mason (drums) -- made several
appearances during last week's SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX. More
upcoming dates will be announced shortly on the band's website:
