American Defense Systems Appoints Nicole L. Prush as Director of Armor Solutions

HICKSVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - November 20, 2008) - American Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) (AMEX: EAG), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor, architectural hardening and security products for Defense and Homeland Security, has appointed Nicole L. Prush as director of Armor Solutions.

In this capacity, Prush will be responsible for the development, marketing and sale of ADSI's line of unique opaque and transparent armor solutions used by the US Military, government agencies, private security, and law enforcement.

Prush previously served as a captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers. In this capacity, she acted as an Engineer Brigade Maintenance Officer, supporting two engineer battalions forward deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In this position, she insured combat readiness, logistics support and maintenance operations for a fleet of more than 1,200 pieces of military equipment and related construction operations. Prior to this position, she served as a battalion adjutant, providing personnel and human resources management for approximately 1,000 soldiers forward deployed to Iraq. Prush began her military career as a US Army assault bridge platoon leader in charge of a 60 soldier unit deployed in combat in a remote region of Iraq. Under this command, she was also responsible for a variety of engineering equipment valued at more than $26 million. Her meritorious achievements during this deployment were recognized with the award of the Bronze Star Medal. Prush earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Western Maryland College.
