Americas Energy Company Announces Drilling Agreement With TN-K Energy Group

KNOXVILLE, TN--(Marketwire - February 5, 2010) - Americas Energy Company-AECo (OTCBB: AENY) announced today a 10 well checkerboard drilling agreement has been executed between AENY and TN-K Energy Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TNKY). TNKY has been producing approximately 150 barrels of oil per day on their J.R. Clark lease in Green County, Kentucky.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the TNKY Team. The incredible drilling success record TNKY has achieved is representative of the experience of the team of professionals they have assembled. The involvement of Travis and Mitchell Coomer of Coomer Drilling, known to be one of the largest producers of oil in the state of Kentucky, further strengthens our belief in the production potential of the J.R. Clark lease," said Chris Headrick, President and CEO of AENY. Mr. Headrick added, "Our agreement calls for the completion of 1 new well per month for 10 successive months, with drilling on the first well to begin upon issuance of the necessary permits."
