Amitive Appoints Sean Rollings as Vice President of Marketing

Community Supply Chain Management Pioneer Expands Executive Team With Manufacturing and Supply Chain Veteran

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - August 4, 2008) - Amitive, Inc., the pioneer of Community Supply Chain Management (C-SCM) solutions, today announced that Sean Rollings, a veteran of manufacturing, supply chain and applications software industries, has joined the company as vice president of marketing. In this role, Mr. Rollings will be responsible for strategic marketing initiatives, including corporate and product marketing, corporate communications, and customer acquisition and partner outreach programs.

"Mr. Rollings has more than 19 years of industry experience and a proven track record of results with SaaS solutions. He is an important addition to Amitive's seasoned executive team, joining at a time when we are forging a path to deliver a new breed of community-focused supply chain management solutions," said Amar Singh, president and CEO, Amitive. "With recent funding, a corporate name change and a deep bench of industry expertise, Amitive is primed to further accelerate our growth in the market."

Prior to Amitive, Mr. Rollings served as vice president of product & industries marketing at NetSuite, a leading vendor of on-demand, integrated business management software suites, where he spearheaded the overall marketing positioning and messaging, as well as strategic initiatives around product launches. Mr. Rollings spent four years at Oracle, where he was senior director of product marketing for supply chain management and mid-market. He served as a manager at Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, with responsibility for business process re-engineering, strategic supply management, and SAP business case and project management. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Johnson & Johnson, Alcoa and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Rollings holds a BE in mechanical & materials from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a master of engineering from McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.

"The elephant in the room is that while brand owners have embraced the business model of outsourcing manufacturing, software application vendors have failed to support the trend," said Mr. Rollings. "Amitive is in the sweet spot of a growing market segment, virtual manufacturing, which can greatly benefit from SaaS for flexible, global, intercompany collaboration. I'm excited to join the company at a time when we are evangelizing a breakthrough solution for the unmet need of community supply chain management and look forward to being a part of the movement to make it possible for mere mortals to manage a global supply chain."
