An Elegant Evening With Best Selling Israeli Author, Lihi Lapid and ICare4Autism


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 11, 2013) - New York based ICare4Autism, a global organization is constantly seeking the most effective way to share information and help the entire autism community as a whole. Recently ICare4Autism have had the honor of being chosen by the World Health Organization (WHO) to facilitate and maintain an E-Resouce Center. This amazing project will focus on sharing valuable information with physicians, caregivers, medical & education researchers, policy makers and families in the ASD global community. ICare4Autism is very pleased to kick off this project with a fundraising event on Thursday, November 14th at the Inglot Artist Space in Chelsea. This charming evening will feature best selling author Lihi Lapid as she discusses her latest novel, Woman of Valor. Lihi is the mother of an autistic child and her novel explores the real life struggles of women in modern society. Joining the list of distinguished guests is Ambassador Ido Aharoni, Consul General to the Israeli Embassy in New York.

Over 150 guests will enjoy Kosher appetizers, wine and even be able to see the regions where their favorite variational grape hails from at a wine tasting booth. Lihi will be available to sign copies of her book during the red carpet reception as a live jazz trio entertains the crowd. The red carpet will have some added sparkle with Ms. New York- Jeanette Josue, former NY Giant- Roman Oben and winner of ABC's Duets- J Rome. Dr. Joshua Weinstein Founder and CEO of ICare4Autism will welcome guests and give an introduction of the evening. Surely the highlight of the evening will be the live art auction featuring handcrafted objects created by some of Shema Kolainu students. Tickets available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/event/8721003757
