Analytical Results Confirm Tungsten - Molybdenum Mineralization at First Narrows' Falls Creek Property, New Brunswick

Next Phase of Drilling Underway to Define the Full Width of the Mineralized Structural-Alteration Zone

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - November 1, 2007) - First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) and (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) (the "Company") is pleased to report that analytical results from drill hole 4717-07-004 from the Falls Creek tungsten (W) - molybdenum (Mo) project confirm that the Dungarvon Granite hosts significant W-Mo mineralization.

Hole -004 (5,178,587N, 688,860E; -600, bearing 0750) was drilled to a length of 121 meters (m) and anomalous molybdenum occurs from 17 to 116.5 m. Weakly anomalous Mo with significant W occurs from 23 to 35.6 m (12.6 m; 41.3 ft.) averaging 42 ppm Mo and 156 ppm W. A wide zone of anomalous Mo (61 ppm) occurs over an interval of 24.2 m (79.4 ft.) from 80.0 to 104.2 m. W mineralization increases towards the bottom of the hole with a distinct W zone developed from 109.6-116.5 (6.9 m, 22.6 ft.) averaging 204 ppm W and 6 ppm Mo. (INAA analytical geochemical results; Activation Laboratories Ltd. in Ancaster, Ontario)

The main W-Mo exploration target is a northerly trending mineralized structural and altered zone along the eastern contact of the Dungarvon Granite intrusion. The initial effort by the Company to drill evaluate this target encountered drilling difficulties which led to the abandonment of the first three drill holes. (see news release of July 17, 2007). Hole -004 is interpreted to have intersected the west side of the main W-Mo target, which remains open across width to the east, at depth, and on strike along the eastern side of the granite complex.

Historical analyses returned as much as 5.35% W in grab samples. Confirmation assays on grab samples from boulders with coarse Mo mineralization collected by the Company during a property visit returned assay values up to 1.26% Mo in 9 samples averaging 0.37% Mo; only three samples were assayed for W averaging 1.028% W with a high value of 2.79% W. A uranium showing is reported in outcrop in granite in the southern part of the property.

A drill is presently on the property defining the full width of the mineralized structural-alteration zone, and will step out along strike where numerous W-Mo mineralized boulders indicate the W-Mo mineralization continues for 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) along the granite contact.

The Falls Creek NI 43-101 mineral potential assessment and exploration proposal report is complete and is in the process of being filed. An additional 419 claims (6,704 hectares; 16,566 acres) have been staked covering numerous W and Mo showings surrounding and on-trend from the original 124 claims.

The Falls Creek property now consists of 543 claims, covering 8,688 hectares (21,469 acres), situated 45 kms (28 mi.) southwest of the Company's Chester copper-polymetallic project, and 33 kms (20.5 mi.) north of the village of Boiestown in the little explored regions of New Brunswick's Central Highlands. First Narrows owns, or has the right to earn, a 100% interest in the property.
