AquaHydrate Is Official Water for USA Water Polo Team in Training for 2012 Summer Olympics

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - June 22, 2010) -  AquaHydrate and USA Water Polo, the Olympic National Governing Body for water polo in the United States (USAWP) today announced that AquaHydrate, The First High-Performance Sports Water, is the official water for the teams as they train for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. USAWP and AquaHydrate also announced a joint marketing partnership that encompasses advertising, branding, and promotional support for both the Men's and Women's Junior and Senior National Teams.

The agreement covers all competitions leading up to and including the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, for which both the men's and women's teams are considered top contenders. The men's team won a silver medal in 2008; and the women's is the only national team to medal in all three Olympics offering women's water polo, taking silver most recently in 2008. The women's squad is currently ranked first in the world, and the men's team, fourth, as they train for the Pan American Games in October 2010 -- where they will compete to qualify for the Olympics.

Prior to that, the teams will compete in a host of major championships including the FINA World Championships next summer in China as well as the FINA World Cup and FINA World League Super Final. The USA Women will host the 2010 FINA World League Super in La Jolla, California, June 28 through July 3. Seven of the top nations in women's water polo will join Team USA in what is sure to be the top water polo domestically in 2010.

"Just because our athletes compete in water doesn't mean they don't have the same hydration challenges as any world class athletes in an endurance sport," said Christopher Ramsey, CEO of USA Water Polo. "Our athletes rely on AquaHydrate because its purity, balance of minerals and high alkalinity make it the ideal product to keep them at peak performance. Purity is key, because I believe that water is a superior hydration product to sports drinks with unhealthy additives and sugars."

"We are extremely proud to be the new water sponsor for these elite athletes," said Richard Berry, CEO of AquaHydrate, "They train up to six hours per day in the lead-up to the Olympics, with a mix of cardio, weights, and swimming. Hydration is critical to their ability to focus, perform and recover from this intense training regimen. AquaHydrate, with its unique combination of ultra-purity, ionic minerals, electrolytes and alkaline pH is the perfect training partner."

Joint marketing agreement makes AquaHydrate exclusive sport beverage of USAWP
Under the terms of the agreement, AquaHydrate will be the exclusive water partner for USAWP,
including specifically fortified water, flavored water, and sports drinks. The agreement also includes:
