Arianne Resources Inc./El Rey Property: 28.36 g/t Au and 245.78 g/t Ag over 3.5 meters

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 4, 2010) - The management of Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DAN)(FRANKFURT:JE9N)(OTCBB:DRRSF) ("Arianne" or "Company") is pleased to announce the results of its diamond drilling program conducted on the El Rey gold / silver property, Sinaloa, Mexico. This campaign totalled 1,114 m in 9 holes and was held during March. It was designed to test 1) the potential of a known gold-silver structure and 2) to better define the geological context of the property and explains several geophysical anomalies.

  1. The drill-hole ER-10-21 returned an intersection of 3.5 m along the hole grading 28.36 g/t Au and 245.78 g/t Ag (82.3 m to 85.8 m) including 81.4 g/t Au and 575 g/t Ag over 1 m. This intersection confirms the continuity of the gold structure to a vertical depth of 65 meters. This structure was previously seen in surface with a trench made by Exploraciones El Dorado and had returned 1.27 g/t Au over 8 m. Two reverse circulation boreholes drilled beneath trench, ER-08 and ER-09, respectively, had returned intersections of 0.9 g/t Au over 6 m and 7.39 g/t Au over 8 m, at 5 m and 30 m of vertical depth. It seems that this structure with economic potential is enriched in depth.

    Two other holes respectively located 100 m SW and 100 m NE of ER-10-21 returned 0.90 g / t Au and 4.04 g / t Ag over 5m (51 to 56 m) in the ER -10- 23 and 0.30 g / t Au and 0.70 g / t Ag over 6.5 m (from 74.95 to 81.2 m) in the ER-10-22.
  1. Drill-hole ER-10-27 and 28 were drilled approximately 700 meters southwest of ER-10-21 and have tested a silica altered zone and an induced polarization anomaly. ER-10-28 returned grades which significantly anomalous gold content: 0.47 g / t Au over 3.2 m (69.8 to 73 m), 0.47 g / t Au over 4.8 m (from 88.2 to 93.0 m) and 1.23 g / t Au over 5.0 m (125-130 m). ER-10-27 intersected an alteration zone very interesting but sterile. It is characterized by the "Vuggy silica", "Banded silica" Opal and Quartz. The Company believes that it is encouraging to see these textures that are similar to those present in "Low-Sulfidation Epithermal Gold System". According to the proposed model, the economic mineralization would fall even deeper below this silica cap.

This campaign was conducted by Maza Diamond Drilling of Mazatlan. It was under the supervision of Daniel Boulianne, geo., Qualified Person under NI 43-101. All samples were shipped to ALS Chemex laboratory in Hermosillo, Mexico.
