Artemis Releases Artemis 7 Version 7.5

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - November 10, 2009) - Artemis International Solutions Corporation, a leading provider of Project Portfolio Management solutions, through its parent company, Versata Enterprises, Inc., announces the release of version 7.5 of Artemis 7 (A7). A7 V7.5, a complete enterprise project portfolio management solution, released in August 2009, is the 3rd release within the past year, demonstrating Artemis' continued commitment to improving quality and performance, in addition to delivering important new product enhancements.

A7 V7.5 includes two major features to enhance project management capabilities: custom calendars and project base-lining. A7 now enables custom calendar creation to determine task scheduling, allowing the project manager to quickly define calendar and project work processes. Through project base-lining, A7 allows the project manager to track multiple project baselines (i.e. versions) to manage the changes. All baselines can be edited and managed in numerous ways, subject to security standards and customization settings.

Artemis also enhanced A7's Bar Chart Editor (BCE) and Microsoft Project (MSP) interface. The BCE now allows the user to display additional data and improves control via numerous usability enhancements. The MSP interface now extends methods of data sharing and integration to enable tighter integration to MSP than ever before. In addition to these new features and enhancements, V7.5 resolves 30 customer requests, highlighting Artemis' continued commitment to align product investment and customer priorities.

A7 V7.5 is the highest quality A7 release ever produced. Artemis continues to dedicate significant development resources to product quality and performance via an array of automated testing practices. Artemis utilizes automated code testing and user interface testing as part of its standard development process, ensuring a higher quality product. In addition, V7.5 certifies Vista and MS Office 2007, including Project 2007. Artemis has also delivered over 20 performance improvement projects between V7.3 and V7.5 that deliver performance improvements between 10% and 90% for common tasks, particularly on large data repositories.
