Asian Mineral Resources: Payment of Directors Fees in Shares

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2009) - Asian Mineral Resources Limited (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ASN) announced today that it has issued 835,636 common shares at $0.11 a share in settlement of $91,920 of unpaid directors' fees accrued as at June 30, 2009. "We are pleased to have obtained TSX-V approval for this share issue as part of our ongoing efforts to conserve cash" commented Jim Askew, the Chairman of the Corporation. "In the meantime, we are continuing, as previously announced, to pursue all potential ways in which the Ban Phuc project could be restarted."
