First Satisfaction Survey of the Top Retail IT Services Firms

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - December 3, 2007) - Today, Austin-based consulting firm, Athens Group, announced that it has been ranked number one by retailers for on-time and on-budget projects by this year's IT Services Leaderboard. The company was also ranked number twelve of the top IT services suppliers.

More than 125 qualified retailers responded to the survey, evaluating 32 top IT services providers, and voted their top picks for six key criteria areas. The survey was conducted by RIS News in conjunction with Pierre Audoin Consultants, a leading market research and consulting firm for the IT services industry. The customer evaluations covered horizontal vendors such as Deloitte, Accenture and CapGemini, as well as retail-focused firms such as the Athens Group, and the service arms of software and hardware suppliers like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, IBM, and HP.
