Automated Benefits Reaches 35,000 Plan Members

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2007) - Automated Benefits Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AUT), today announces that wholly owned subsidiary Automated Benefits Inc., ("Autoben") has grown the number of plan members (certificates) on the Autoben system to 35,000. Concurrent with reaching this milestone, Autoben has also increased its transaction revenue to over $80 per certificate, a 35% increase from previous levels, on business added from newly acquired customers.

"Autoben has shifted its historic target market from the small group broker customer to larger Third Party Administrators, and Group Insurance carriers", states John Jackson, President, Automated Benefits Inc. "With the significant modifications made to the Autoben system, we can now attract the big players in the employee benefits arena while also serving the needs of our traditional customer base. The larger TPA's not only add certificates in blocks but they run all of their health and dental business through the system which increases the revenue per certificate."

Autoben is scheduled to add another 5,500 certificates from one of its larger customers before calendar year end which will represent an increase of almost 100% from the previous year. As the revenue per certificate increases with each new customer block, Autoben's average gross margin grows as more of this higher margin revenue is added.
