Automotive Specialty Concepts (AMVS) Announces First College License With the University of Oregon

VANCOUVER, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 21, 2005 -- Automotive Specialty Concepts (OTC: AMVS) announces first college license with the University of Oregon (U of O).

The new license includes University of Oregon wheel logos, similar to AMVS-produced, patent-designed Marine Corps Wheel Logos. The company will now be able to offer both wheels via the AMVS website as well as through distribution sites such as Amazon and through direct retail outlets, such as U of O and after market wheel stores. Strategic alliances are already under way with more details pending in coming weeks. AMVS's website is utilizing a new search engine marketing program to increase website hits, and expects to see increased traffic over the next several weeks.

"With the addition of Mel Renfro, football Hall of Famer to our team it was only natural to go after U of O license as our first college license. There is a significant fan base for our licensed products," said Dexter Morrison, sales and marketing director. "Currently the University of Oregon is in the top 10 and usually sells out most football games with 58,000 tickets, has 25,000 season ticket holders, and also has a nationwide television audience."

"The first item in our line of products, University of Oregon light switch covers, are already being sold at four U of O retail locations, three in Eugene and one in Portland and the store reorder rate is higher than expected," he added. The model being sold is posted here:

"This new license agreement is the first step in the extension of a current development program thru DexSports, which will include University of Oregon-branded night lights, light switch covers, apparel, wall paper and other accessories." DexSports is doing business as (DBA) AMVS's wholly owned subsidiary Switch Plate Ads.

AMVS advisory board member and football Hall of Famer Mel Renfro is a graduate of the University of Oregon, and still holds track records at the University. Mr. Renfro said, "This licensing program is a key in expanding drug awareness programs at the college level. We look forward to helping schools and colleges use new advertising space to relay positive messages, to help schools raise money, and for school promotions."

"Our growth plan includes rolling out the same licensing and product sales program to over 300 other universities in the U.S., based on our success at the University of Oregon," said Paul Stringer, AMVS CEO.

He continued, "We took our new wheel design to the recent Civil War Game between U of O and Oregon State for a trial to see the reaction. The response for the new wheel design was overwhelming -- no one had ever seen anything like it before. We are planning our official marketing rollout to the fan base and have already confirmed initial orders."

The model shown at the game is posted here:
