Avino Continues to Receive Encouraging Drill Results on Durango's Mexico Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2007) - Avino Silver and Gold Mines Ltd. (the "Company" or "Avino") (TSX VENTURE:ASM)(OTCBB:ASGMF)(BERLIN:GV6)(FRANKFURT:GV6) is pleased to announce that it has received new assay results from holes SG-07-27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 while continuing to drill on two zones exploring its property located 80kms north east of Durango, Mexico.

The two drills continue exploring the San Gonzalo deposit and the ET zone on the main Avino vein from which the company mined gold, silver and copper ore from 1975 through 2001.

These San Gonzalo holes are on the south east side of the old workings. Location of all the drill holes can be viewed on Avino's website: www.avino.com (all lengths are down hole).

The San Gonzalo drill is currently completing hole SG-07-39 and the Veta Avino ET Zone drill is currently completing hole ET-07-07.

San Gonzalo hanging wall vein: 206.45m - 207.80m (1.35m) 1.37 g/t gold; 294 g/t silver (0.04 oz/t gold, 8.57 oz/ton silver)

Sample lengths of NQ drill core were diamond sawed into halves by mine staff and shipped to Inspectorate Labs in Durango, Mexico for preparation into pulps and rejects. Pulps were analyzed at Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, Nevada. Gold and silver were analyzed by fire assay using Aqua Regia Leach and AA finish. Other elements are reported from a 29 element I.C.P. package.
