B.C. Produces 7 Winning Tickets in Record-Breaking Lotto Draw

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 19, 2010) - British Columbia was seven times lucky in last night's record-setting LOTTO MAX draw.

While no winning ticket was sold for the game's $50 Million jackpot, the $95 Million draw did produce several MAXMILLION winners, with 30 of 45 additional $1 Million prizes available either won or shared across the country. Seven MAXMILLION winning tickets were sold here in B.C., including:

$1,000,000 Langley $333,333 Chilliwack (split)
    $333,333  Kamloops (split)
$500,000 Langley (split) $333,333  Victoria (split)

Please visit for winning numbers and a full prize breakdown.

With no $50 Million dollar winner, the game's top prize will carry over to the Friday, June 25 draw, which will also feature an estimated 55 additional $1 Million MAXMILLION prizes for a total of $105 Million in top prize money available to be won – yet another record-setting total for a single Canadian lottery draw.

  • When the LOTTO MAX jackpot reaches $50 Million, ticket sales begin funding additional $1 Million prizes called MAXMILLIONS. So, a total jackpot fund of $105 Million = $50 Million + estimated 55 MAXMILLIONS.
  • Each MAXMILLION jackpot has its own separate draw following the main draw.
  • To win a jackpot or MAXMILLION players must match 7/7 numbers (from 1-49).
  • Odds of winning a jackpot or MAXMILLION prize are one in 28.6 million per play.
  • Each $5 ticket features 3 chances to win (7 numbers each).
  • If no ticket wins the $50 Million jackpot, it will again carry forward to the next draw, along with any MAXMILLIONS that are not won. However, if the $50 Million jackpot is won, any MAXMILLIONS that are not won will be added on to the next jackpot, which resets to $10 Million.

LOTTO MAX can be played at all BCLC retail locations and online at Winning numbers can be found online at following each draw. NOTE: With a record number of draws and top prizes available, players are asked to please allow extra time for the results, as each top prize requires its own draw, winning numbers and prize-winning ticket validations.
