BCLC Lets Lotto Balls Loose in Vancouver

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 21, 2009) - The first draw for Canada's new national lottery game, LOTTO MAX, will be held on Friday, September 25. With main jackpots reaching a whopping $50 million and additional $1 million MAXMILLION™ prizes creating multiple millionaires on a single draw, this new game is sure to be a hit with Canadians.

To celebrate the launch of this new game, BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporation) is holding a special "Running of the Balls" event in downtown Vancouver, featuring 49 human lotto balls (representing the 49 numbers available to play) sprinting towards a nearby finish line.
