BMO Harris Private Banking Announces Changes to BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 22, 2010) - BMO Harris Investment Management Inc. (TSX:BMO)(NYSE:BMO)(BHIMI), the investment management arm of BMO Harris Private Banking, today announced proposed changes to the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio, to take effect on or about September 24, 2010. BHIMI delivers discretionary investment management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. BHIMI's strategies include allocations to multiple assets classes, across geographies and investment styles.

As part of its continued focus on refining its investment offering, BHIMI proposes to merge the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio into the BMO Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio.

As manager of the portfolio, BHIMI will seek regulatory approval for the proposed merger; if investor approval is also required for the proposed merger, BHIMI will seek such approval at special meetings to be held on or about September 23, 2010.

When the merger is complete, holders of units of the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio will receive units of the BMO Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio.
