BMTS Explores Demolizer Technology in EMS With AMR, the Country's Leading Medical Transportation Company

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - BioMedical Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: BMTL)

BioMedical Technology Solutions, Inc. ("BMTS") is pleased to announce that it has placed several systems in communities that are served by American Medical Response, Inc., ("AMR") a subsidiary of Emergency Medical Services Corporation effectively reducing the environmental impact of medical waste management.

AMR, headquartered in Greenwood, CO, is the nation's leading medical transportation company supporting community-based operations nationwide in 39 states and the District of Columbia. More than 18,500 AMR paramedics, EMTS and other professionals transport more than four million patients nationwide each with an operating fleet of over 4,500 vehicles.

BMTS began working with AMR in 2008 to implement the innovative Demolizer® II System in select communities that required their ambulance providers to utilize GREEN alternatives to conventional business practices. The goal was to provide safer and environmentally friendly management of medical waste while simplifying operations and reducing overall costs.

AMR-Sonoma Life Support in Sonoma County, CA was the first community to use the Demolizer starting in 2008. They are the 911 ambulance provider in Sonoma County transporting more than 20,000 patients annually. "We installed the Demolizer® II one year ago. By using the Demolizer and training our crews on the proper identification, segregation and hospital disposal of our infectious 'red bag' waste, we have successfully eliminated the vast majority of our waste stream," said Dean B. Anderson, General Manager of AMR-Sonoma Life Support.

Further stating, "We had our new ambulances specifically designed to carry the Demolizer® sharps collectors. Crews can safely and conveniently discard their sharps waste. These sharps collectors are returned to the station and processed in the Demolizer® II System."

"Our crews enthusiastically adopted the new system as part of our effort to decrease our environmental impact and our expenses. Both goals have been accomplished with minimal effort. The system is easy to maintain and automatically provides the necessary documentation for our records."

Based on the success in Sonoma AMR has initiated evaluation of the Demolizer II in several other environmentally-conscious communities in Northern California, Connecticut and Florida.

"This is an important milestone for BMTS," said Don Cox, President and CEO of BMTS Holdings, Inc, further stating, "the medical waste management needs of medical response providers can be ideally managed by our Demolizer® II. AMR is an excellent company with a proven track record in environmental leadership, safety and quality of services. The American Ambulance Association estimates that there are over 15,700 ambulance services in the U.S. with over 48,000 ground vehicles. Each of these service locations represents an opportunity for BMTS. The Demolizer® II is a perfect fit for this marketplace and we look forward to significant ambulance adoption of our system in 2010 given the excellent results obtained at AMR."
