BTB Real Estate Investment Trust Announces the Sale of One of its Semi-Commercial Properties

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 12, 2007) - The trustees of BTB Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX VENTURE:BTB.UN) ("BTB") announce the sale of one of its multi-use properties known as Plaza St-Louis, bearing civic numbers 53, 57, 61, 63, 65 71 and 75 - 45th Avenue in the City of Montreal (borough of Lachine), province of Quebec. This multi-use property of 14,004 square feet was acquired on February 1st, 2007 as part of a portfolio and did not fit BTB's acquisition strategy given its residential component.
