NEW YORK, NY and HERTOGENBOSCH, NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - August 25, 2010) -  BWise, the global leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management software, is pleased to announce continued growth and augmentation of its operations in North America. As a result of increased demand and strong results in the market, BWise has expanded its North American team, including hiring a new President for the firm, Joseph C. LeBas, effective immediately.

In his role of President, North America, Mr. LeBas will focus on the overall operating performance of the North American business, as well as expanding the company's sales, marketing, consulting services and customer support teams to meet the needs of its customer base. "The recent expansions we have made at our New York regional headquarters are just one example of the overall growth of the company. BWise will continue to be committed to North America and to expanding our customer reach."

Over the past three years the company has seen significant growth in North America, while adding several new customers to its diverse roster of clients. These new customers represent a wide range of industries including Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Financial Services/Insurance, and Energy and Utilities. Some noteworthy new enterprise clients in the region have included Roche, Aon Corporation, The Southern Company, and Marathon Oil.

"It is a great honor to join BWise at a time when both its market and sales are growing rapidly, and to be a part of its accomplished global management team," said LeBas. "With its strong GRC leadership position as well as a loyal customer base that spans industries and geographies, BWise is uniquely qualified to help enterprises manage operational efficiencies while complying with regulations in a dynamic environment. I look forward to continuing to build on our vast market opportunity in North America."
