Bank Technology News Call for Entries for Green Bank Ranking

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 3, 2010) - Nominations are being accepted for Bank Technology News' ranking of America's Greenest Banks. The results will appear in the April 2010 issue of Bank Technology News magazine.

Utilizing third-party data along with bank-provided narratives and metrics, the ranking will recognize community, regional and money-center banks that have achieved the most impressive and measurable examples of "green" initiatives. Programs as diverse as becoming carbon neutral to data center efficiency and green-building efforts will be considered.

"It's our goal to bring deserved recognition to banks that have implemented distinctive strategies with discernable fiscal and environmental impact, and to present best practices for the rest of the industry to follow," said Rebecca Sausner, editor-in-chief of Bank Technology News. "Transformation happens one initiative at a time."

Nominations are being accepted through February 26, 2010. Questions can be sent to Rebecca Sausner at
