"I look forward to using my knowledge and many contacts to help to enhance economic opportunities and support job growth in the Bahamas."

Mr. Pinder ran on a platform that included a commitment to comprehensive national health care for all people regardless of their ability to pay and to policies that support job creation through small business training and development and programs that attract diversified industries.

Mr. Pinder attended Queens College and St. Andrews School in Nassau before attending high school in New York at The Stony Brook School. He is a graduate of the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing; a Masters of Business Administration in Finance; a Juris Doctor Law degree; and a LLM in International Taxation. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000.
