Beltone New England and PGATOUR.COM Campaigns Powered by Datran Media's Aperture and StormPost Digital Marketing Solutions Win Internet Advertising Competition Awards

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 12, 2010) -  Today, Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company, is pleased to announce that two of its clients' campaigns have been honored in this year's Internet Advertising Competition (IAC). Datran Media's Aperture audience discovery and targeting platform helped Beltone New England take home the award for "Best Health Care Online Campaign." Additionally, Datran Media's email marketing and monetization platform, StormPost, powered an email marketing campaign for PGATOUR.COM that received the award for "Best Sports Email Message" as well as "Best of Show, Email." 

The IAC Awards are designed to honor excellence in online advertising and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for the best in Internet marketing. 

In the award category for "Best Health Care Online Campaign," Beltone New England was recognized for its use of Datran Media's Aperture to accurately discover its ideal audience and deliver better targeted, highly relevant advertisements online. Because its core audience offline was seniors over the age of 65, Beltone utilized Aperture to gain valuable insights into a brand new audience segment for the company -- the children of their original target audience. This discovery led to better optimized creative, fewer wasted impressions and, ultimately, higher returns on investment in digital marketing.

The campaign generated a 34 percent click-through rate versus 14 percent in emails without video. PGATOUR.COM, the official Web site of the PGA TOUR, is the number-one site in golf and is managed by Turner Sports in conjunction with the PGA TOUR.
