Big Apple Worldwide Participates in Environmentally Sensitive Design Conference

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - June 7, 2007) - Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BPWW) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Big Apple Wallcovering, Inc., participated in the Hotel of Tomorrow (H.O.T.) Project "Ideation Session" at The New School in New York City last week. The event was created to foster ideas for creating hotels more suited to, and protective of, the environment. It was sponsored by Hospitality Design Magazine and Gettys, an interior design, architecture and fulfillment firm.

The H.O.T. Project was created to bring together experts from diverse fields to share their leadership, creativity and originality with regards to "green" design, construction and beautification. Big Apple Wallcovering is focused on creating wallcoverings and fabrics that utilize natural materials and inks, while also stressing the importance of conserving materials. As a result, the Company will now identify environmentally sensitive products with a green symbol on its Web site and "No More Books" kiosks.

"Attending this meeting brought to our awareness the importance of expediting our efforts to improve the environmental impact of our products. One of the ways we have done this is by eliminating sample books, which are impossible to dispose of when no longer in use. Our 'No More Books' program has replaced the books and expansive displays, benefitting the design community and the environment," stated Neal Jablon, President of Big Apple Worldwide, Inc.
