Black Art Beer Announces Closing of Funding Round

Leading German Beer Importer Ends Reg D to Investors

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - January 11, 2010) - Black Art Beer Importers, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BLVI) announced that it has closed its Regulation D securities offering and is no longer selling shares of its common stock to accredited investors. A Form D will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission shortly, disclosing that the company has raised $1 million in the offering over the past twelve months. The limit to any such offering is $1 million per year.

Closing the Reg D offering brings to an end the issuer's recent use of equity in financing operations and offers other financing avenues within the coming quarters of 2010. The issuer is looking forward to releasing quite a bit of new information over the next few weeks, including the further distribution of their products as well as outlining its 2010 going forward business plan to shareholders and potential investors. Management now intends to recalibrate its focus to its previously announced plans of addressing its share price, and matters that will increase its shareholder value. The issuer intends to furnish its shareholders with this forward guidance shortly.
