BlackBerry® Advancement Means New Demand in the Business Industry

triOS meets Demands by Introducing the New Mobile & Desktop Support Technician Program

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2010) - With BlackBerrys® and computers dominating North American business, triOS announces their newest program Mobile & Desktop Support Technician that will produce the next certified IT workforce. The BlackBerry® device has become an essential part of business, and the demand for skilled workers to support the network has never been greater. The triOS Mobile & Desktop Support Technician Program is a condensed, yet extremely comprehensive program that offers Microsoft and BlackBerry® Certification.

Back in 1999 the BlackBerry® was released as a cool little 2-way pager with a keyboard. Now the BlackBerry® is fundamental to all businesses as a fully networked device. As the pressures mount to be a fully capable and dominant company, you must have an IT department to support your needs. The program is offered in six out of our eight campuses with classes starting monthly. Graduates of this program will be capable of working in any industry as a Help Desk Support Technician, Mobile & Desktop Support Technician or a Network Administrator.

"We have assembled a group of industry experts that have helped us to create the most comprehensive and effective curriculum available. Our latest addition to our curriculum focuses on the growing need for experts that can provide detailed support for Windows Desktops, Microsoft Office, and mobile devices such as BlackBerry® in a wide variety of environments. We are excited to be offering such an enriched program that will produce a talented pool of Technicians to meet the demands and challenges of this fast-growing industry," said Networking Faculty Head, Jason Eckert.

In just over 11 years, the humble cell phone has evolved into a multi-purpose tool – a game, a book, a store, an operating system, and a valuable business resource. The triOS Program is designed for the individual seeking knowledge and certification in supporting users as well as computer and network administration. Students receive training in desktop applications, communication and support, training on popular operating systems including Microsoft Windows Vista and wireless and mobile devices making them a valuable asset for any IT department.
