Blast Radius Expands Across the West Coast; Opens Offices in Seattle and Portland

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2010) - Blast Radius' presence on the west coast is rapidly expanding with the success of its new Portland and Seattle offices. These two new offices, combined with the company's Vancouver and San Francisco offices, allow the company to better service its clients including Nike, Microsoft and Starbucks.

"I believe we provide a very fresh and formidable option for Pacific Northwest companies who are looking for a world-class digital partner," says Randy Siu, Senior Client Director and General Manager of Blast Radius in Seattle.

The Seattle office has been up and running for six months, but already the outlook is strong. "Our growth will continue to be driven by delivering great work for companies like Microsoft and Starbucks but that's just the beginning," says Siu. "Seattle is a hotbed for innovation and technology; and we belong here."

One of the main goals behind opening offices in these two major cities was to bring the creativity to the clients' doorsteps: Microsoft and Starbucks in Seattle and Nike in Portland. As Jon Dorch, Senior Client Director at Blast Radius in Portland puts it: "We're here for the relationship."

Since last year the Portland team saw nearly a 50% growth in business – this, in the most dire financial year we've seen in recent history – largely due to Blast's work with Nike. "We've been working with Nike for eight years now – our big focus is the Jordan brand," says Dorch.

One of the main criteria for the new office space in Portland was that it had to function as a collaborative space for Blast Radius and Nike. "Our access to information and the sharing of ideas make us much more informed about their business consumers and strategic direction," he says. "That makes us better able to service them."
