BlogPotomac Un-Conference on Best Marketing Practices for DC's Social Media Community Slated for June 13

Event Brings Social Media Marketing's Top Minds Together to Provide Growing DC Region's Online Community Best Practices

ALEXANDRIA, VA--(Marketwire - January 23, 2008) - BlogPotomac, a local "un-conference" will be held June 13th at The State Theater in Falls Church, Va. The conference will provide corporate and organizational social media marketers advanced insights beyond an average "101" social media event.

Sponsored by Livingston Communications, Viget Labs, and WorldBiz, Inc., this day-long event touts itself as the marketing conference like no other. It will feature a total of seven speakers, including an opening keynote by Lionel Menchaca, digital media manager and chief blogger, Direct2Dell. The luncheon keynote will feature Frank Gruber, product manager of social media platforms at AOL.

In addition, many nationally recognized names from the social media community will present sessions. Speakers include:
