Bolton Resident Receives Suspended Sentence for Tax Related Fraud

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2009) - On September 4, 2009 Roger Oke of Bolton pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud over $5,000 and one count of failing to attend court in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. Mr. Oke was formerly a director of Russell Staffing Inc., a temporary staffing business. Mr. Oke was given a suspended sentence and two years probation for the fraud charges, and sentenced to time served of nine days for the fail to attend charge.

The Agency seeks publicity on convictions to maintain public confidence in the integrity of the self-assessment system and to increase compliance with the law through the deterrent effect of media coverage.
