Box Breaks New Ground: Doubles Free Plan to 10GB and Launches $5 Plan to Bring the Enterprise Cloud to Businesses of All Sizes

New Plans Make It Easier Than Ever for Businesses to Move Their Content to the Cloud

LOS ALTOS, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 21, 2013) - Box today announced that it is doubling its Personal offering to include 10GB of free storage and launching an all-new Starter plan tailored to small businesses that offers 100GB for $5/user. Building on Box's success in the enterprise with major customers such as Discovery Communications, Procter & Gamble, and AutoTrader Group, the new plans make it easier than ever for businesses of all sizes to move their content to the cloud.

New Plans
Box's new plans offer a variety of features and capabilities designed to fit the needs of any individual or organization:

  • Personal (Free): Expanded 10GB of free storage for Personal accounts.
  • Starter ($5/month): 100GB of pooled storage and a 2GB file size limit to make it easy for SMBs and small teams of up to 10 users get started on Box.
  • Business ($15/user/month): 1000GB of storage and a 5GB file size limit, as well as one (1) premium enterprise application integration (such as Active Directory or Salesforce.com), basic admin console functions, and device pinning for added security.
  • Enterprise ($35/user/month): Unlimited storage and a 5GB file size limit, as well as unlimited external collaborators and enterprise application integrations, full group Active Directory support, access to the full Box admin console, security reporting and content management services, and the Box Content API (for 3 custom apps).
  • Elite (price available on request): Includes the features of the Enterprise plan, as well as the highest level of Box support, a free test environment, and unlimited use of the Box Content API for custom internal apps.

BoxWorks 2013
Box's third annual BoxWorks conference will take place on September 15-17th 2013 at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco.
