Brando Enterprises and Triumph Motorcycles to Debut Iconic Apparel at Triumph Dealerships

Triumph Legends Line to Offer Replica Leather Jacket Inspired by Marlon Brando's Character in "The Wild One"

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 12, 2009) - Brando Enterprises and its exclusive licensing representative Brand Sense Partners, LLC (BSP) have entered into an agreement with Triumph Motorcycles for the design and recreation of a leather jacket worn by Marlon Brando in the iconic biker movie "The Wild One." The jacket is the latest addition to the company's popular apparel line, Triumph Legends.

This modern day replica includes key features of Brando's original jacket right down to the embroidered 'Johnny' name tag and the BRMC distressed print on the back of the jacket. The style is inspired by the original with a classic highway collar, shoulder epaulettes and pocket detailing; the leather is modern yet treated to give a vintage look and feel. The double impact seam stitching, CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors and a removable thermal vest lining make it both fashionable and functional for today's motorcycle rider.

To celebrate the life of the original rebel and under official license from Brando Enterprises, Triumph is also developing men's and ladies' t-shirts as well as a limited edition print that features Brando's iconic movie pose inspired by "The Wild One."

"The Wild One" starred Brando as motorcycle gang leader Johnny Strabler who rode a 1950 Triumph Thunderbird 6T. The movie established the anti-hero movement that would fire the imagination of filmmakers and audiences for generations to come. During its initial release, "The Wild One's" popularity caused a buying frenzy of black leather motorcycle jackets, Triumph motorcycles, jeans, white caps, and sunglasses.

"It was an honor to work with Mr. Brando's estate and while many will want the jacket as a must-have collector's item, we're confident we'll be seeing this beautiful item on streets and freeways worn by motorcyclists everywhere," said Ian O'Reilly, Clothing, Merchandise and Licensing Manager, Triumph Motorcycles Limited.

The partnership was brokered on behalf of Brando Enterprises by the Los Angeles business development consultancy, Brand Sense Partners, who is Brando Enterprises' exclusive licensing agent.

"We are thrilled to be celebrating one of the most iconic duos in motorcycle history -- Marlon Brando and Triumph. We hope this collaboration will invigorate the motorcycle community and reintroduce Marlon as the undisputed rebel and trendsetter that he was," said Theresa Brown, Senior Director of Business Development, who directs strategy and implementation for Brand Sense Partners' Estate and Celebrity group.

The Triumph Legends Wild One leather jacket will be available just in time for the holidays at Triumph Dealerships beginning December 1. For Marlon Brando partnership inquiries, please contact Theresa Brown, Senior Director of Business Development at 310-867-7222.
